You've heard it before and you'll hear it again... You cant out train a bad diet! Nor should you try to!
Many people will compensate poor nutrition with copious amounts of cardio. This just sounds torturous.
If your nutrition is in the toilet you shouldn’t be on the treadmill or bike melting your shoes away to make up for it. It’s a dangerous and unhealthy cycle of eating poor and doing guilt work. You’re not an animal, you don’t need to punish yourself.
That being said it’s also important to state that when trying to lose fat or weight in general simply eating less like a nut will be mush easier than adding hour of cardio to your day.
After "cleaning up" your nutrition you should take a look at your lifestyle and see how active you are. If you’re a labor worker, you probably do much more physical work daily than most people so, you may not have to increase your weekly cardio amount. But if you work at a desk job you might need the bump in activity to promote a change in weight.
Everyone, their activity, lifestyle, and nutrition are different so, this is a dynamic concept from person to person. Finding when to add cardio or when not to and when to focus on your nutrition might be the next adjustment you need to see some changes in your weight loss.
